Dr. Seray Kağıtçı Candan received her bachelor’s degree in International Trade from Gazi University in 2018. In the same year, she began her master’s studies in Business Administration at Ankara University while gaining professional experience in the foreign trade departments of various companies, particularly in the areas of export management and international marketing. She completed her master’s degree with a thesis examining the micro-level factors that determine the exporter characteristics of SMEs through a mixed-method study of OSTİM clusters. She commenced her doctoral studies in Business Administration at Ankara University in 2021 and completed her Ph.D. in 2026. Her doctoral dissertation explored the internationalization processes of technology-based ventures from the perspective of digital entrepreneurial marketing. She currently serves as a Research Assistant at OSTİM Technical University and is a member of the Türkiye Advisory Board of Kotler Impact. She previously worked as an Assistant Specialist at the OSTİMTECH Entrepreneurship and Leadership Application and Research Center. Her research interests include international marketing, digital entrepreneurial marketing, technology-based ventures, firm internationalization, export performance, marketing capabilities, and entrepreneurship.
