About the Recognition (Credit Transfer) Process for Erasmus Study Mobility

As a result of the reviews conducted within the scope of monitoring and evaluation activities carried out by the Turkish National Agency, the following procedure will be applied regarding the recognition process of students who have completed Erasmus study mobility:

Students who have completed Erasmus study mobility are required to submit to the Erasmus Office, without signatures:

  • The transcript received from the host institution, and
  • The final recognition (academic recognition/credit transfer) form prepared in accordance with the Learning Agreement.

The submitted recognition form will be processed by the Erasmus Office, and the required wet signatures will be completed sequentially by the relevant Departmental Erasmus Coordinator and then the Faculty Erasmus Coordinator.

At the final stage, the signed final recognition form and the transcript will be officially submitted by the Erasmus Office to the Department Secretariat.

Important Note:

This process should be carried out automatically, without the student needing to apply separately to any academic or administrative staff for approval or persuasion.

The correct and timely execution of this process is extremely important to ensure that students do not experience any difficulties or grievances during the recognition stage.
